This howto shows how to backup the flash disk.

• Log onto the system as root using the terminal or SSH daemon.
• To become root using the SSH daemon, type the following command (this is not nessesary if you are allready connected as root) and provide the root password when asked:

sudo bash

• Type the following command (including the brackets). This will create a file called mtdblock0 in the shared directory public1:

(cat /dev/mtdblock0 > /drives/Volume1/public1/mtdblock0)

• This file should be exactly 16 MB large (16 * 1024 * 1024 = 16777216 bytes).
• Save this file somewhere safe.
